
Trending @Infosys; Salary Discrepancy After Promotion to TA
My friend and I were both recently promoted to Technology Analyst from Senior System Engineer. We joined the company at the same time as freshers. However, after the promotion, his CTC is 6.5 LPA while mine is only 5 LPA. He received an Outstanding rating last year when he was promoted to SSE and got ME this year, whereas I got ME last year but an Outstanding rating this year. Earlier, our salaries were almost the same. Does anyone know why there could be such a difference in salary now? Is there any way I can increase my salary now?

Your project or team wants to save project cost, and they decided to save by taking away from you. Because either of one types:
- you will continue working dedicatedly even though increment is less
- your presence or absence doesn't make difference so polite way to request you to look for external opportunities!

Same happend with me. I still not got answer for this!

He has probably a higher dq score or something niche within SAP
