Trending @Infosys; Role vs designation

Im trying to switch companies and i prepared my resume saying in a DevOps engineer which is actually my role in my project. But my designation with infosys is associate consultant. If I prepare a resume with DevOps specific without mentioning my actual designations. Will that creates any mismatch and have a problem with background verifications? Will they revoke offer letters because of this?
