Trending @Infosys; Role maturity from TA to TL . What's the CTC one can expect?

I've heard that promotion from TA to TL is not that smooth. They may hold people to test further. What's the reality. How much time it takes to get promoted. And how much increment in CTC people see generally?

Well, 17.5% hike was normal feom jumping JLs, not sure how yours is less, did you try raising ihd ?

My question is different. I wanted to know what revised package I can expect in TL role. Currently I am in TA. I mean is it worth it to wait for TL role maturity or switching is better. I know switch option will always win but just want to know details for clear decision.
