Trending @Infosys; Role change from JL4 to JL5

I joined Infosys in May 2022 as Associate Consultant and got promoted to Sr. Associate Consultant in Jan 2024. I requested my manager for a role change to JL5 but he simply said there are no slots available right now. What to do now, I feel like I am stagnant in JL4 for a very long time. I have got a full rating in the last two appraisal cycles. Is it true that there might be a lack of slots or my manager simply doesn't want to promote me? And any suggestions on how to get promoted to JL5

JL5 minimum wait time is 5 years unless you are truly exceptional on a continues basis. After next May you should get it

I already had 2 years of experience before joining Infosys. So I have total of 6 YOE. So wait time is 5 years within infy or total YOE?

Check any of your colleagues in the project are from other PU/DU ? Apply IJP to that Unit, so that you can continue in same project and only Manager, PU/DU will change.

I have joined infosys 6th march 2023 now i have 3 years experience in infme and total 6 plus i have joined a sr associate consultant but there is no promotion to jl5 yet. My manager giving me lolypop since 1 year . I dont know how much time it will take me to be promoted
