Trending @Infosys; Retention Hike

Hi everyone, I have resigned and one offer in hand with around 42% hike. My manager has offered me around 30 to 35% hike. This increase is a combination of retention hike plus the promotion hike. Very casually he mentioned an onsite opportunity as well but I don’t think that will happen. Any suggestions what should I do.

Hey Guys, Just wanted to update I had decided to stay in Infy and accepted what they were offering. Got around 52% hike including a Promotion. Pretty happy with it.🙂

When org is not giving retention budget how can they provide you with one, not genuine discussion

Bro, I had a discussion yesterday with my Manager. I just mentioned whatever he told me. Whether it’s genuine or not that I will know in some time.

I think what they will tell me is that you will get the increased salary when they announce the hike cycle.

Don't think 1% also just get out from here.

In 35% hike there will be variable pay % deduction based on JL level so no use of that. Instead of that accept new offer.

Switch is a personal decision. If you are happy then no need to switch. If you are in a salary crunch then look for more offer letters Why settle for less

Move on!! If you already decided to quit why not use first offer to get an even better offer.

It is better to move . There is no guarantee when the 30 will come to you

Yes I was also thinking the same. I think they are going to roll out in the next cycle. Then no point in staying till then. Anyhow I will confirm with the manager once again.

If your retention is 42% hike and top of it 30-30% hike and onsite offer take in writing. If the above is the combo then go for it. Else go for new company.

Note : in Infy calculate in-hand first ☺️
