Hi Folks ..I am on JL5 with around 13 LPA I got an offer of 20 LPA from ..but due to Location constraints for now I don’t want to move ..so I can expect some retention hike like around 20% if I will put paper or it would be risky game ?

Don't try it if you are on bench. If you are allocated in a project, putting down your paper will lead to a discussion. To what extent negotiations will happen depend on how important you are in your project and some other factors. Remember, you can always withdraw your separation. But again don't try it if not allocated. You may be pushed for early separation.

If you are a critical asset in the team, then expect 15-20% max for JL5.
