It has been four years. I was converted from contract to FTE. Due to FTE role there was salary depreciation of one lakh that to asking for for it like a bagger. Worked my ass off. Got outstanding as rating. But then I was on bench for 3 months as project got ramped down. I didn't receive any single ruppe hike and no one bothered to inform me that it was because I was on bench for three months. But was that my deliberate decision to be on bench? Why was I punshied for that. When I worked 16 hrs a day and the client was so happy then they never said that don't do that much of work and take some rest. I know people here who started their career with infy and are still on 7-8 lpa after 10 yrs of experience.
I am fed up. I have thought all scenarios. And have decided to take a calculated risk.
