Trending @Infosys; Resigned Infosys without another offer in hand
Hi Everyone, I have joined infy as a fresher and it's been 5 years now. Didn't get proper hikes or promotions in the current project. So I took a risk of resigning to infosys and then search a job while serving notice period. Can someone suggest is it ok or a risk to the career?

I did the same thing when I was in infosys. No proper recognition and hike. Put my papers with no offer. Initially you won’t get much calls when last 45days you will get multiple calls and you will be able to crack atleast good number of interview. Don’t worry if it. Yesterday was my last working day

If you are in Bangalore, chance is to get more opportunity . Make sure to put the skill set which you want job in your resume as well as in your naukri profile . If possible buy resume display and priority from naukri not other even they will tell you to buy . It worked for me so hope it will work for you and always keep just one . Add and remove from profile summary to make it updated one everyday

Highly Risky, if you have no confidence whether you will get a job soon and are not financially safe to afford yourself for some uncertain amount of time. Risky, if you don't have an offer yet, but confident you will be able to get another job very soon.
Before joining here, I did my search and applied to Infosys after resigning from my previous job. If Infy didn't hire me, I would have been in a risky situation. Thankfully, for around 15 days, I had to sit unemployed between the last working day at my previous employer and joining date for Infy.
If you have proper reasons and is able to prove those furnished reasons are valid, then it isn't risky, but it depends on the hiring person. Generally, it is considered risky.
At the end of the day, it is only "risky" to those who are genuinely concerned about your future.

Yeah I agree with you but I want to take a risk for my future. I can't work here under this pressurized environment with very less salary compared to my experience. Hoping that I will get a good offer in these 3 months.

Hi. I also resigned today . I don't have any offers . It's been 8 years for me in Infosys and I got hike only 4 times. I know it is a risk and still I will stand on my resignation. I won't take it back. Other companies asking immediate joiners or one month notice I will try my luck.

Hi. All the best. I am also thinking the same.

Dude, my friend is unemployed for 1 year, he was last at 19lpa@4YOE
So don't be overconfident that company will hire you if I have less notice period days when people with 0 NP are not getting job

Yes it is possible and am not over confident. I am confident on my skills and yeah I agree that luck also matters in this case.

If you're confident in your skills go ahead and resign check for the referrals instead of directly applying for the companies anyway you can take back your papers at any time but it's not suggested to do so

Yes I am confident of my skills but no other company is ready to provide an offer with 3 months NP. By the way, thanks for the suggestion. I will resign ASAP here.
