Trending @Infosys; Resignation and wfh

So I have recently rejoined after maternity leave. It's been a few weeks and I am not able to pay attention to my child during the day, not getting any sleep at night and have a constant headache for some reason. I recently got mapped to a project, I am still going through the KT materials they have sent me, the work hasn't started yet. From what I understand I am going to have to drive the project which I don't think I will be effectively able to handle due to my current situation. I am planning to resign. Not sure if they will be finding a new resource or I have to work in the same project till the notice period ends. Also not sure if they will let me work from home during the notice period.

You can just apply extended maternity leave and tell your manager to release you as you can’t manage the project. Between leave put your resignation. No higher priority your child and yourself. Headache is for obvious reasons !! No sleep at night and work pressure during day times

You can take a sabbatical instead of resigning

Talk to your manager once and explain the situation if he agreed to early release you may not have to serve notice period and wfh I was with jaundice and submitted documents from doctor still they are asking me to come to office and if I don’t my promotion and home will be affected is what my manager is saying indirectly
