Trending @Infosys; Resign and retaining

Hi,

I'm thinking of putting papers. If I do, will I get a call from HR for a reason? If I tell them that I want a project in Java but currently I'm not getting any as I belong to a different unit. Will they put me into a java project or will they let me go?

Please ans!

They don't care about your ambition and will simply kick you out.

Bro try doing some internal java certifications & add java as your primary skill. One of my friend got a project which he wanted to work for in a data related domain. But you need to be on a central bench, so your profile is visible to managers.

For technology change it totally depends on your Manager, but if you really want a different project, you have to directly speak to your SPM GPM DM, on hierarchy whoever listens.. before putting out papers, make sure you have direct one on one communication with your manager stating I am putting papers and reason is technology change..

Just put down the papers , if you’ve have good offer, in hand here nothing goes as per our way.

You can try reaching out to BPHR before putting papers .if they can't assign you Java project even if you drop papers then also they won't be able to do so better check with them if they are able to assign then take the decision. Retaining is not possible in this market situation

HR won't ask you until your manager tell them to do so, and manager will do that only when you are a critical resource. If so, then they'll try to retain for the same unit, project and role..
So, in a nutshell, there's no chance

If I'm on bench and put papers, how soon will they release me?
