There are a few ways to get an early release from the current project:-

  1. Simply request your manager and explain your situation, if you are not a valuable player in the project then he/she will release you. (Chances 50%, little bit safe side)

  2. If your manager has assigned you some tasks then don't work on it and give some silly reasons (Like, I don't know the work/I have health issues to work on for long hours etc). Then he/she will release you and will put you in PIP(Performance Improvement Plan). If you have cleared PIP then you will get a new project or you have to find projects based on your interest. (Chances are 60%, But very risky)

  3. You can apply for the IJP or Bridge Program. If you have selected then you will get an auto release from the current project. (Chances 70-80%, Safe Side)

  4. You have to switch to another company. Then just complete the 90 day notice period or if you can convince your manager and HR then you can get early release also. (Chances 85-95%, Very Safe Side)

  • Now the choice is yours.

What if I have been in the same account for 2.5years and I'm very very valuable for my account manager? What's my chance of getting released?
