Trending @Infosys; Regarding project refusal

I have 3.5+ years of experience and infy is my first company. I am in bench from last 20 days, earlier I was in a project. I got a mapping mail for a new project but I was refused to take that because of location constraint, I want to work from my base location as I have some medical issues with my parents. But mapping manager put comment that I don't want to work in a support project that's why I am refusing. Now someone from HR team has called me and asking the reason for refusal and told me that they might take disciplinary action against me due to project refusal. They told me to submit supporting medical documents to them. Can anyone please suggest me that what disciplinary action they can take ? And anyone please feel free to give me any suggestion you want, as I am worried and confused on this matter.

Drop an email to the manager asking why incorrect reason has been put where you clearly state the reason for refusal was location constraint. Put his DM in loop . Keep senior HR people in loop . Keep looping higher people till you get a response put him in a spot.

Manage sent a TL to discuss with me during interview, he didn’t discuss directly with me. I don’t have any proof/ recording that what I was told in interview.

When cancel/reject demand mapping, we get a mail, reason is there, for me they put that I'm on long leave , i replied all on that mail that this is not true, the commentor manager clarified in mail reply that it was by mistake, rm dm from both sides are cc there, so good visibility, dm then directed then sm1 to personally look into my case and they gave me good proj w/o interview bs

You don’t need proof. He needs proof to show that you said other wise. Your demand was not outrageous
