Hi, I am working as test engineer. I will be completing my 2 years in this company by next month. I am planning to switch. Internally I am facing to get a developer role. In experience letter I may get designation as Test Engineer. is this a drawback when I wanted to work as developer in other companies. How can I switch to other company as developer?

They won’t mention designation or wt you worked in the organisation in the experience letter

yes true,I was in support role for around 2 yrs in Wipro then switched to Infy as developer.In my experience letter from Wipro only my total yrs of experience and designation(Project Engineer) was mentioned

I am Also facing same issue , I think only bridge program is good option but it's really hard look impossible to me.
