Hi,
I got selected for a promotional IJP and my release date is November 30. Should I need to do anything from my end to get released from my current project to join the new one? Or I will get Auto released from my current project and will automatically join the new one??
I haven't received any promotion letter. But a transfer request is initiated and approved by both releasing manager and hiring manager.
I have discussed with hiring manager about the new project, But he didn't told anything about the new project. he said to wait until the current project release. Will there be any days gap between release date and joining date for new project????

Which means you might have received promotion letter Sep 30, and your current manager will be in loop. You must have formally discussed with your current manager about release Also, there will be an Assimilation session by the new unit HR, attend that call and get all your doubts clarified
Everything will be automated but inform your manager for the same.
