I will be getting a promotion on 1st October from senior associate consultant to consultant. I want to know what the % Hike we received from JL4 to JL5? If anyone can help

For consultants also hike is 17.5% anyone can tell?

Yes. That is standard promotional hike. Anything more only if you fight with your manager before and set the expectations.

Okay thanks, someone told me the average hike is 10-12% so I want to double check on it.

I got 17.5% last month (JL4 to JL5)

I’m waiting for the same promotion, but I do not have any assurance from my manager. He mentioned that he has nominated my name for the promotion, but everything depends on feasibility at the unit level. I didn’t apply at any IJP nor did I receive any confirmation mail regarding the nomination. How can I know if there is any nomination actually done for me? Also, does this promotion happen only quarterly?

Yes, promotion only happens quarterly and moreover there is no way we can check if the manager has actually nominated you or not. As per my manager he has nominated me last year in October and it took an year for the promotion.

Same with me, since last year I'm chasing my manager for promotion. Everytime they say, will check and update you. Even I reached out to my DM but no positive response.

Infy should work on it and come up with strong promotional rules and regulations.

Managers are no more helpful.
