Hi I joined infosys on November 11,2021,as system associate, In 1.5 years we got progressed as senior system associate,now it's been 2.5 years now but still no promotion and progression as test engineer but some of my batch mates got mails 2 days before as they promoted and got mails and gross also changed and but i didn't got any mail Or progression and promotion, what should I do, is there any eligibility for this that from begining they should be in project then they will get promotion? No right everyone should get right? Can I ask my manager about this promotion? What you guys can recommend on this?
Yes you can ask manager & bphr. In infosys promotion & progression doesn't depend on performance it's depending on Role Maturity even you given outstanding performer also role maturity needed
I was promoted to Test Analyst in Jan with 2.5 years of total experience. Some of my colleagues are still waiting for a promotion with 3 years of experience.. totally weird and no transparency.
There is a big scam going on in infy regarding promotions nd progresion , no one cares about your growth, they think that we freshers are stupid labourers working here , when you ask manger they will point to bphr and when you ask bphr they will not respond and will point to manager and this cycle goes on. Then manger will give excuses like ask you why we should give you promotion, what extra activities are you taking initiative, you are not doing anything extra , we dont have budget currently, project is running in loss , this that . But then few bootlickers will get ptomotion and management will say we have given who deserved. These kind of scam is going on in reality and many are facing these things . It doesn’t matter anymore about role maturity

As a senior systems associate with 2.5 years of experience, I recently discussed this issue with my manager. They mentioned that there are currently no available slots for a transfer or promotion. However, they assured me that I am on the list for promotion to JL3 once slots become available, which typically happens on a quarterly basis but I am not sure if it is 100% true 🥲
Yeah, only if everyone... How about when you are already targetted
