I’m a working in a huge project in infosys which is based on mainframe technology. Now the project is getting transitioned to different company. If the project gets transitioned do all the employees working in project will be put into bench? Or how can we apply to the same job and position to the different company? Will this be allowed?

Apply for the company for which Infosys is giving the transition they will hire you as you know the project very well so they need someone experienced person same thing happen in my project they have hire from the vendor who is giving the transition to Infosys

Yes, I’m thinking to apply for the same project in different company. But how can I apply for the same project? May be I need to find a HR or talk to my client for recommendation.

No need to find HR just don't give KT on each and every topic make sure they have dependency on you and don't share in depth information about project if they don't find a way they will reach out to you make sure you don't reply within sec take time days don't reply then definitely they will reach out to you and they will ask a way out then simple say ur willing to come they will pay and talk for early release also

If you have more than two years of experience, you can start applying for the IJP or Bridge program. This will help you transition out of your existing projects. If you have strong experience, other managers are likely to pull you into their teams, so there’s no need to worry.

Yes, I have 2.6 years of experience in Infosys. I’m not thinking about being transitioned to different project right now. As I will have to start over again from the start and I will have to prove myself again. Instead I was thinking to apply for the same project I’m different company with a higher package.

You may or may not be placed on the bench; if there is any other work available, they will try to accommodate it into another project. If you are looking for the same type of work in Infy, you can find it with the help of your manager or colleagues; it appears you want the same project, so even if it goes to another company, you can try for another company in your current role; it is dependent on the other company.

Your management will look out for the next project for you based on the transition timelines of the current project. Nothing much to worry on. Just prep pare h yourself for client interviews
