I have been aligned to a project from Jan 2025. Before allocation nobody explai8the nature of work. It was a support project with tight deadlines and daily onsite calls till 10pm.I am an ML returnee. I was not comfortable so I asked release.They didn't give it. I continued working. Now a tough situation came up. My father got a serios illness. Confirmed malignancy. It was mentallyband emotionally draining. I asked for release again. They said to take long leave. I am not in a sit6ti take lop now. Manager said there is no other way to release me, otherthan taking leave. Also said project refusal may lead to termination. What can I do now?

Don't work much , after that they will release you. Try to avoid work whatever they are asking you to do. Apply IJP

I heard that that will lead to pip and all.. I am not worried on that.but just thinking. Will that cause any policy violation or anything?

Clear case of employee harassment. You will get release from the project but you have to fight for it. DM me let’s discuss it there
