How long does it take to get mapped into a project. It’s been 15 days since I joined but hardly got few ping but those were not aligned to my skillset.. And also how long can we be on bench. Do we need to reach out to someone in order to get hardlocked to a project
Hey buddy, try to get the project as early as you can. This "enjoy while you're on bench" becomes a serious issue later. Without project, your experience keeps increasing but your skill set doesn't and the next time you plan to switch, the next employer will see your experience not how much time you spent on project and the difficulty of your interview depends on that. So better to get mapped early to a project. Keep bugging your Manager's, TPDs for project. Best luck.
