I’m currently working as a Consultant in the IS unit with close to 6 years of overall experience. I initially joined as an Associate Consultant in July, with 3 YOE, at a package of ₹11 LPA.

For the first 2 years, I was part of the DNA unit. However, due to the lack of salary hikes, I applied for a promotional IJP and got promoted to Consultant. Since this is an internal move, the hike was limited to just 12%, bringing my current CTC to approximately ₹12.3 LPA. I'm still awaiting the regular wage hikes, which are yet to be rolled out for our unit.

Given this situation, I’ve been considering a switch. However, with the current market conditions and hiring slowdowns, many seniors have advised focusing on making the best of the current opportunity.

That said, I’m still keen on exploring opportunities in product-based companies, especially since I have a Computer Science background. I would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions.
