One of my friends is on a PIP and has completed all the assigned tasks except for one certification. He was unable to clear it even in the second attempt. Other than that, everything else is completed. Could anyone please let me know if this might cause any issues?

It depends on the manager who has given the task Most of them will not consider it it can lead to termination
