Trending @Infosys; People in Verizon getting NSA?
I am working in Verizon project for past 10months and whenever I ask for allowance they are telling everyone in this project works without allowance. Manager is telling to work regular shift but all the meetings held after 6.30pm IST. Because Verizon onsite people will be available at that time only. So iam working in morning and regular standup in afternoon, then back to back meetings after 6.30pm till 9.30pm. Still they are telling no allowance. Anyone else also feeling this in Verizon Project????
How is the work culture and learning in verizon account?
Work culture is bad.... As I mentioned above the timings. Work is not show cased. Also in my project is working in core Java and using outdated versions.... No way for migrating things to new, bcus they are not ready to upgrade So no new learning If you don't aware of old or outdated technologies, then it will be learning

Shift allowance is given if you are working after 11pm or login before 6 am. If they are asking to login after your working hours simply refuse to attend. Don't attend the call after your working hours. Its your manager work to schedule proper time.you just don't work.
Yeah bro i did the same at the beginning by just attending a meeting from mobile but not working in my system. Then the issue started, my manager telling that iam not working properly and I didn't do task in time and gave me ME rating. Iam worried that he will put me in bench Now-a-days Infosys laying off instantly
Then search for other projects if you stay for long they will ask more efforts. Even if you give your best they will still give ME only.
I think for NSA you have to work till past 11. I might be wrong though
