I got one project offer and they asked me if I am comfortable with onsite for 2 to 3 months.

If they asked this question so is there really any chance of getting this opportunity or this is just a facade?

Ask for a approx date for travel , if it’s closer accept it immediately. The demand for on site is in a raise as they are not giving hikes since few years.

2-3 months is not worth it if you want to do savings, ask them for 1 year or more. OR if you just want to get an experience then you can go for 2-3 months. It depends on your goal.

Ask them to initiate the process and ask for the relevant document for the same
