How long must we be in the office for our attendance to be recorded?
Total 3.5 hrs would work, then no need to apply od/wfh (Depends upon project and manager as well).
No it is required to work for 9.15hrs a day but for marking present at Office its just 3.5 hrs.... So u need to apply OD/WFH for the remaining otherwise it will show negative hours in Your Attendance and also will result into deduction in Leaves and no Allowance if u you are getting any Shift Allowance. Speaking with personal Experience.
Depends upon how you want to manage avg working hrs. If I'm doing 3.5 hrs a day, I can extend working hrs to 10 for a few days to cover it. Although, both options are fine.
3.5 hours is considered as Present.Better to have a buffer of extra 15 mins.
Minimum 3.5hours, I would say extra 10mins. Buffer you should be good!
