I have been working on a project for the last 2.5 years, now they are asking us to work from ODC ,or the base location. My base location and ODC is in pune , but I was working from the nearest dc till last month . Now they are telling me to work from ODC or base location,but I'm preferring to work from the nearest dc. WHAT TO DO NOW? QUIT PROJECT OR QUIT COMPANY?
@ImaginaryGuess08 check with your manager to know if there is an option to change base location to your nearest DC. If your project doesn’t have any location constraints, and if the DC you prefer accept transfers then there is a possibility.
This is not possible for managers to create sun project code and it will take lots of effort so they will not do this
Its been 2.5 years and I believe you should leave asap
Ping your manager and told him your family health issues(issue should be family health related) and asked him for transfer to the nearest dc.

Same is the case with me, I've visiting whichever DC I want, but now received a mail regarding working from ODC and use LAN else network won't work in client laptops🥲
