Trending @Infosys; Notice Period Help

I’m serving my notice period at Infosys with my last working day being Nov 1st. Due to a recent team restructuring, I will be moved out of my current squad. My knowledge transfer and documentation are almost complete, and at this point, I don’t have any active work or deliverables. My manager is okay to release me by end of Sept , but the final decision rests with the delivery manager, who is hesitant because of billing concerns.

How did you convince your delivery manager for an early release?
