Trending @Infosys; Notice period and Joining issues
Hi everyone,
I am in a deep shit now. I got an offer from a product based company which is offering me 10 LPA but the joining date is on 7th April, 2025. I have negotiated with Infosys and brought the 90 days notice period to 30 days and now I am reliving from Infosys on 15 april 2025. Now at first the new company agreed to change my joining date and then suddenly they said that their business team is not approving and there will be a compliance issue and I should be mandatorily joining on 7th April or else they will drop my application. Now I have already fought with my managers over this and I am in bad terms now. I don't know what further action I should take because Infosys won't reduce the reliving date again. Will really appreciate your inputs on this.
Only issue I see is pf you will be getting twice

See on a serious note , just because the 1st company 1st agreed then denying its commitments saying business blah blah reasons , ask them to honour the commitments as you have already conveyed to Infosys hr for a release date , if they still can’t accept the facts then bro start looking for another opportunity from another organisation.. its just that these are high level flags .. even though you join this organisation still internal commitment denial will be there in long run . Have they released the offer letter ? If yes then apply somewhere else other wise these HR are like they will give offer letter close to join date and they will not give any window for counter offer .

I would not join a company which will drop my offer for one week. They will throw you out as well with 1 week notice. You need put the pressure right back. Tell them you are pulling back your resignation of you don’t recieve a joining letter with 15th date.
