Trending @Infosys; Needs improvement rating

Hello, this time my rating degraded and I got " Needs improvement" rating. I am just concerned about my job at Infosys. Can this rating lead to firing me from the company? What should I do to improve my performance?

You definitely will not get fired, but need to go PIP . If you are in bench and got NI , then it will be a problem to get project as well, as we also consider your last rating before onboarding to the project.

But to improve my performance what should I do? What is PIP? And where can I get more details about pip?

It's better you start finding a new job, the HR will have call with you saying, you will not have hike this year and next year and if your performance doesn't improve next year, you can longer continue. If you are confident on your knowledge and abilities start finding another job.
