Trending @Infosys; My manager slapped me at the Infosys office. What should I do?

Last week, I came late to work and was completely drenched because it rained. We had a meeting early in the morning that I tried to take from my phone but I was not audible properly throughout. The client did not want to reschedule. I must say that I am pretty tall and healthy. I go to the gym and can bench press 20kgx12x3. I was working on my desk and she slapped me on my head. Obviously it hurt and I shouted in anger. She then shouted at me for being late to work. I complained to her manager about this behaviour. She said that she was just joking and didn't hit me at all. I asked to check the CCTVs but there is no bloody coverage. Why is it that she can get away with treating me like this? Is this because I am a guy? I am scared to create more fuss because I really need this job. Help me please.

Sometimes a straight right uppercut is a solution to problems like these.

P. S. Raise a complaint to Infosys HEAR, mark the entire management and all HRs, give her hell.

How to raise a HEAR? Can we do that for my scrum master from the previous project? She barely used to let us take leaves and to make it worse she once made joke about my grief of losing someone close to me, she also denied me bereavement leave!!! She was that toxic!

There is a dedicated mail id

hear@infosys.com, still just check it once in InfyMe.

Write the mail to them in such a way so that it lands directly into the manager's a**, give them hell.

You can complaint to the HR.

But, sorry to say nothing will happen to her, if she have good contacts with her seniors. It will only affect you in your project, yearly ratings etc.

If it was something that was disrespectful even if she was doing it playfully need to be reported. There are no two ways about it. Write formally to your DC head, HRBP and raise a formal complain on HEAR. This will not only giver a message but to other peer managers as well.

She might have done it in a fun way, it is not slapping, it is hitting on the head(tapli) like you do with your friends ...that might be the case.

Bro, these issues are very serious. Let's say in this case, if the gender is reversed, then think of the impact that it might have created. Don't be silent on this issue bro. Raise concern to HR. Drop email to every higher management people. Make her life living hell.
