Trending @Infosys; My manager is taking advantage of me..

Hi everyone I have been working as a PMO in a SAP Project for 6 months till today but i am not interested in PMO and want to make my career in FICO Module.

My manager is sweet talking me to stay with the project as a PMO because it will hard for me to find a project on my own that too as a beginner in FICO Moudle.

How do i peacefully decline him so that things don't go in any wrong direction.My worst fear is that he might put me on PIP.. I have student loan to pay.. Someone please help me 🙏🙏😭

Also if I get release from this project how long would it take for me to find a project as a beginner level FICO consultant

If your rating is at least ME u r safe buddy till next rating cycle.U will not get pip.

You can’t!! To be able to choose a project of your choice / technology you need to be experienced enough or have that skillset. Why would SAP FIcO guys take you, what new are you bringing to the table for them. Especially in a service company like infosys where you don’t get to choose project especially early on jn yiur career. The project chooses you that is the reality.

How long can one survive in infosys without any project allocation??

If you fight and get released then not much. You will be a target . So first find a manager who is willing to take you in a Sap FICo project. Then start the fight for release
