It seems you are already earning 40 and on 6B role as you are already a project manager, are you gauging others salary if anyone drawing more than you, if that's the question yes there are many earning more than that.

No, i am not getting that in the infy. I am getting offers from outside for the same package. So i am checking if infy can match that. Otherwise I will leave.

Management has clearly stated in townhalls, they are not going to retain people as it will disbalance the salary of others . You should definitely go for outside offers.
