Is there any way/ alternative that we can avoid this ?? and continue Work from Home ??
- I’m JL3 with salary ₹25,000.
- If I go to office for 10-11 days it’ll cost me ₹3000 including transport, food, travel and laundry.
- Work from office is not at all economically feasible for JL2 and JL3.
- Because it’ll cost them unnecessary expenses worth 10-15% of their salary.
Your points are valid and logical. Unfortunately govt and real estate are forcing companies to bring their employees back to offices. So that you can spend and the economy keeps running.
And cost of accommodation too
The only option is to check with your manager, if he agrees it's fine else you have to follow the hybrid model I'm also jl3 we are going to ofc for nearly two years in hybrid
Hybrid models are the norm in other companies as well. No option you have to attend, I guess.
Yes there are some companies who mandated 5 days wfo as well, very few are there that offer wfh but they are also moving to hybrid only
I took a two month exception saying that back pain and cannot travel much. Had a couple of session from therapist and he also provided the medical certificate. This worked
