Hey guys! Just need some suggestions and process details if anybody knows.
I have been stressed out because of work from couple of months. I have been getting headaches 3-4 times a week and headache stays for the entire day from past couple of months and when checked with doctor they said it’s stress headache which disturbed my sleep as well.
The work environment in my project is also has been very hectic and stressing me out.
I’m thinking to check with doctor and get some medical certificate to take around 3 weeks of leave. Will the managers and HR team allow us to take that many earned leaves because of health issues? What is the process for that and how long it might take for approval?
I report to one manager and in project I work under different manager. I should check with reporting manager about the concerns and leave process right?
Could someone please share inputs?
Don’t give a damn to process. Ask for immediate release or resign. Find new job do minimal work. No monetary benefit is worth having sleepless nights. Working overnight on critical issue is doffernt thing . At least gives you satisfaction after completion. But in your case thoughts about your work itself is giving sleepless night. Whether your fault or not this is not worth it at all.
Thanks for your input. I’ll try to switch, actually even for preparing job interviews I’m not getting time because of the work but yeah I’ll take leave and work on interviews. They don’t care about the employees or team, leaving is the best option I think.
