Trending @Infosys; Leave in notice period

Can anyone please let me know what is the leave policy in notice period? How many leaves can I take and will my notice period get extended if I take leave.

Have my interviews lined up and don’t want to waste my time doing rut work.

You can take leaves, it'll will not impact your np.

However, if your lwd is falling in between the month then in that case you'll be getting 5 leaves during the starting of the quarter but you're eligible for leaves based on the number of days you're working. Eg. If your lwd is 14th aug so you are eligible for 2.5 leaves of jul-sep qtr.
any leaves which you've accumulated earlier (10/15 whatever the number is) you can use all.

My lwd is 29th July and I have around 22 leaves as of now. Can I take leaves at a stretch? Say 5 consecutive days?

Also, do I have to give any specific reason for long leaves?

I would suggest not to take continuous leaves. Take 2-2 if required.

If you take the leaves, then Your manager or L2 approver can extend your last date mentioning you have taken leave. So it is upto L1 and L2 approver call. So check with your manager if he is okay.

Hey since you're a very senior person i think you would be the right person to ask this I have my joining on 23 December and I got relieved on 31 October so if my YOE doesn't round off to 3 yrs it's actually 2.10 yrs and if i get 1.5 months gap will it matter? People are telling me to join early but I want to take 1 Month break should I do that? Will it be a problem?

One off leaves here and there won’t matter. But if you take long leaves and it impacts work /KT you Manager may extend your LWD
