Actually it is best to complete bcep, I heard it might be used as a filter for promotions if slots are less and eligible candidates are more

It depends, my colleagues have done it but i didn't and no one even asked me to do it. I didn't have stream training after the generic training , so, that could have been the reason.

Depend on unit and managers sometimes they force u to complete while you bench or free but it is just for stay you busy
