Trending @Infosys; Injustice???!!!
Joined recently as a consultant with DCG as a part of campus placement. There were other joiners in Infosys Consulting too from campus placement of the same college. Before joining they were recently given a hike of 15% and revised offer letter. Is this usual?
Weird that both IC and Infosys recruited from same college. They Defintely don’t have the same pay structure. And usually infosys can’t afford the college IC recruits from

Yes sir IC doesn’t go campus for engineering jobs. It only goes to MBA colleges. My question did both Infosys consulting and Infosys Technologies visit your campus. There are consultants in both companies but IC salaries are 30-40% more compared to infosys tech for the same experience. But typically the colleges they visit are are different. IC typically recruits from tier 1 if they can afford or top of tier tier 2 colleges. Whereas infosys tech starts at bottom of tier 2 as they usually pay in 9-12 range.
Since the other joiners were hired to Infosys Consulting this makes sense. IC is a sub division of Infosys Limited. They as a standard have premium rates as compared to IL, their role structure is also different and don't follow normal IL engineering structure.
Infosys Consulting is different and has its own perks .
