Infosys has started sending mails to employees whose swipe-in and swipe-out records indicate presence, but their actual working hours are being marked as zero. This is happening because employees are not in the office for most of the time after swiping in.

How Infy gets to know employee is out of office after swiping in ? Are they checking employee computer usage time or just the swipe in swipe out time differences ?

Swipe out time. People do swipe in and then directly swipe out. So infy is checking time between the first swipe out and the last swipe in that would be done in a day. It was obvious.
