Trending @Infosys; Infosys Manager and team lead forcing me to do extra work on notice period.

I am currently working on a Nokia project in Infosys as an L1 support engineer. During the interview for this project, I was informed that it would be a purely technical role with opportunities to work in the networking domain. However, after joining, I realized that the project is primarily a service desk role, where our tasks are limited to opening and closing tickets.

Fortunately, I have received an offer for an L2 support role with a 100% salary hike. However, my current employer is not granting me an early release and is insisting that I serve the full 90-day notice period. In addition to this, I am facing bullying and threats that I will not be given my experience letter if I don’t comply with their demands.

Kindly suggest me, what I can do in this situation

If at all the threats continue, drop a email to your HR and relieving manager Citing harassment and ask for early release.

HRs in infosys are just mute puppets. They've got nothing to do in this organization

They cannot hold up the experience/relieving letter. The least that they can do is make sure serve the entire notice period but as you are leaving anyways , just continue doing your routine tasks and handover. No need to overwork

Spend your notice period quietly. No one will stop you from leaving. Also leave in good terms as you never know when you might need to come back..

They cannot threaten you, they cannot hold ur offer letter or write anything bad. U need to speak up . Learn to say No and say it strongly

You have to serve the full notice period. Other companies know this and they will wait for 95 days from the offer date. But, if you delayed resigning after receiving the offer, it is on you.

Be calm. Be optimistic. Take your time to do your task. These 90 days will pass... Don't give up!
