Working at Infosys has been a journey, and not in a good way.
As a System Engineer my workload is completely insane.They ask me to still bill 8 hours even though I am working more like 14 hours a day.
It's like a never-ending nightmare of tight deadlines and increased pressure.
You'd think that a company of Infosys's stature would have a better grip on managing workloads, but no, they seem to thrive on pushing their employees to the brink while others are chilling on the bench.
Decision-making processes is so slow that I am not even motivated anymore. It's maddening to see projects inching along so slow just because some decision needs to be approved by a hundred different people. It's like they're allergic to efficiency.
Even good employees feel like 💩
This completely depends on your project and current track that you are in. Ideally, your PM should monitor it esp and should not allow you to get stressed out with workloads. In case you don’t get required support from PM, you should approach your Sr PM or DM. But ensure you have yourself in order.
