Trending @Infosys; Incompetent Senior Management in Infosys
I’ve worked on four different projects with different teams at Infosys, and one thing has been common across all of them. The focus is always on keeping the client happy, which leads to unrealistic timelines for deliverables. Because of this, the development team ends up taking the biggest hit. There’s no overtime compensation, no work-life balance, and hardly any personal time. My day starts at 9 AM, and even now I’m still stuck in meetings. Once the meeting ends, I still have to work left to finish. Working 11 to 12 hours a day has become normal. Totally fu**ed up. Can't even resign due to ongoing loans.

Gone are the days we were considered equals on the table . (This is for 75% of Infy, 25% is still doing good work on their own terms ). Now we are just outsourcing vendor competing with 4-5 other vendors. So if our sales and senior managers don’t be bend backwards and be yesmen to the client they risk losing position. So no ground rules / no expectations are set juts do what client says. Whether it’s late night calls, working in weekends . Reality of IT service industry today. Good work taken by the GCC and garbage passed on to vendors

Very true

Senior management should retire and give the younger pool a good chance to reflect how exactly work should be done. Buddhe log has no skills but still milking money

Speak up for your health and wellbeing.. there's nothing wrong in it.. sometimes it may work out .. prepare for interviews for backup .. we have a choice to be bold or to suffer silently.. I once spoke up and the whole team is happy and thankful for me..

Same here, Been working in a project for over 2 years now. Unrealistic deadlines, Working on weekends has become normal now. In these 2 years I have worked under 4 different managers. Even managers are getting changed to meet the deadlines. The new one literally says I want everyone to work until 10 PM and work on weekends as well.

Bro even i have worked for 9pm-2am next day but there is no appreciation and they're not giving good hikes or new role.
