Hi I applied for IJP and I got selected they are giving 17.5%hike .My current manager wants to retain me in the project he is offering 20% hike how much hike can I asked him .It's from sse to TA
Don’t think once you are selected you have an option to reject. Why get in this mess for 2.5%. Am assuming this IJp movement is an area of your choice

Are you so sympathetic to them ? What this will do is mess up your impression with hiring manager. What if he puts his foot down. Once selected and email sent indont think there is option to pull back. If anyone has gone through this do let this guy know. But if you are doing such good work and have dependency why settle for 20% ask for 30%. Retention should be worry it right?
20% now is not worth it, if they really appreciated what you bring, they’d have shown it earlier
