Trending @Infosys; IJP or Switch?

I have been selected in IJP and am serving the current project for 2 months. I have an offer in hand but they are asking to join within a month. As per the policy I have to serve 3 months notice. Currently i am about to end my 2 months notice as i was about to get into the new project. If i resign will they leave me within a month as i have been served 2 months already and 1 month more would complete my 3 months?

Doesn’t work that way. Your new manager can very well hold for 3 months. Resigning from company and serving 3 months is not the same applying an IJP and serving 2 months. 3 months will count from day you put your esep. So you are basically at mercy of your new manager and hr whether they want to entertain you
