Trending @Infosys; I will be completing my 4 years in Infosys on May 17. So would I be automatically promoted to TA or manager has to recommend? Please answer

You need to beg to your manager every week. 2 years back..98% of the people used to get promoted to TA as soon as they complete 3 to 3.2 years ..max 3.5 years..now this changed..manager has to recommend. People who have completed 4 year..are still waiting for thr turn. So its better if you get in touch with your manager.

Yeah bro, You should ask them for promotion. I completed my 3 years in dec 24, from same day i was mailing my manager every 2 weeks for this and finally i got promoted in april 25

Update: got a new offer and initiated ESeparation. Promotion is a blatant lie.

See..I will also be completing 4 years in June and my promotion to jl6 is pending...but in my opinion for better salary we should switch rather than asking for promotion... ultimately they will give a 17% hike ...out of it 5% will go gratuity..so net net you will get 10-12% hike
