Yes I also recently became TA but i have only met I didn't get that much hike but my friend who has outstanding went directly to 6.5

Yes I got promoted in jan. Exp- 3.2 years. 4.5 ->6.5 after promotion. 6.5 -> 6.90 after annual hike

You can resign same day itself it won't affect your pay but in reliving letter they will not mention that you're TA, to reflect min 6 months you've to be there
