It's been 6 months and it has been a roller coaster ride.
I joined as Associate Consultant,got into the project and didn't like the nature of the work as it totally misaligned my interests and skills. I opted out from the project and my delivery manager had a conversation with me ,promised that she will help me with some good project and then she didn't reverted back.I joined in April 2024 and august 2024 got in bench.
I took a lot of follow up but no revert. Then connected with the central Tpd,they helped me with one opportunity in the corpsales unit. Then when the corpsales unit manager approached my unit.They showed a lot of resistance.then I had a conversation with my practice manager or pu head to help me with the release .after that conversation he was convinced.
But when I asked the other unit manager to drop a request for the transfer of unit,the manager backed off .again I gave one interview for tpd,I was selected.again after a few days the manager backed out of taking me.
Now a few days back I received a probation letter from the hrd that my performance was not up to the mark and we have extended your probation till 31st dec 2024.if not performed well..we will not be able to retain your services.
I just wanted to work and approach people to get me one opportunity.But when I have not performed anywhere ,how can they say that.
I do not understand what is happening.Is the practice manager is doing something wrong.
Need guidance guys.

Start giving interviews outside Infosys.. it's been 6 months, it will impact your performance.
