Trending @Infosys; I need a suggestion from you guys

I have 4+ experience in sap.SD and joined Infosys Jan 2023 with 8 LPA. I got released from last project in December and allocated to new project. But they no longer need me in new project as well. I am still tagged in that. I not working on anything since December but still not on bench. I am still billable under my new project.

Should I be worried regarding this situation? Will Infosys layoff me even though I am not sitting on bench? Can I enjoy my free time without any work?

Please suggest

Sorry but don't you think you are kind of underpaid here

Yes, I have joined Infosys when I had 3 year experience with 8 LPA. Since then there was no increment. I have completed 1 year in Infosys and I am planning to switch after completing 2 year in which 4 months are already passed. So just waiting for another 6-8 months to switch.

Any specific reason for completing 2 years
If we leave infy within 2 years can we rejoin Infy after cooling period

Bro, I suggest you keep upskiling. You won't get this flexibility once you move to project. If the project is not good or for some reason if you want to quit. You will be ready by that time 😊

For now you're safe, I was also allocated to prod and with no work for 5 months and at that time the bench people were asked to write the foundation program again and if they fail they used to get terminated.

So once they put me on bench, I need to immediately move to project to be in safer side
