
Trending @Infosys; I lied to the company that i can join within 30 days, now i have got the offer letter but i still have 90 days of notice period left. What should i do?π

Tell the HR, earlier I was on bench, so Infy HR was offering 30 days np to all the employees who are putting papers..and now they have tagged me into project , so currently my notice period has become 90 days.. I need to speak with them.. if they can release me early..but for that I need you to revise the offer letter with new date(90 days)..further I assure you I will join your organization only..you have my word

I was about to say this. I have also done this means lied to other company and this is a common practice. If you are on bench then you will get release immediately, if not then check the allocation date of your project.

Work 70 hours and cover 90 days within 30 days.


So based on what reason you said 30 days. Have you been on PIP ?

To get the offer from other company obviously... Most HRs don't even start the process once they hear about 3 months np!

That might be 1 reason but if you are in PIP & you are looking outside instead for struggling to clear PIP then the chances to get relieved are very high that's y

They revoked my offer when they came to know

I am on bench and notice hr said they can release me anytime I ask them (even tmrw if I need),
So in short if ur project has no dependencies on u talk to ur manager and then hr .. they can release u early

Now lie to yourself that you got an offer π₯² . On a side note put your papers and try more companies . One offer gives you confidence

Negotiate hard for np , offer buyout
