Trending @Infosys; I don't know what I am upto

It's been 2.5yrs in here. But I never got a project until last few months. I was always on constant pressure what will happen next. This isn't a story of mine. Many of my colleagues have faced the same too.My question here is why are they wasting our time here? Like 2 years with no realtime experience. Just salary ( I am grateful for that) But I also feel they just wasted our time. What are your thoughts?
