SE -> SSE takes 2 years minimum SSE -> TA takes 1-1.5 years, minimum.

So, if you’re someone who has spent 3 years with infosys and started as a SE, you’ll have to wait for another 6 months to 1 year to be eligible for the promotion, in spite of your performance.

The role maturity is minimum time you’ve to spend in one role to be eligible for promotion. But this is not completely written in stone, ig. Couple of folks got SSE to TA just because he said he was looking out during the covid era, even though they hadn’t been SSE for even 1 year.

Role maturity means required experience to get promoted.What unit you are from ?
