Trending @Infosys; How to get released from the Verizon client?
Please tell me how I can get a release from the Verizon client project.? It's terrible we have to work in a Citrix VM that's pretty slow you need a constant high internet speed. The team is toxic even though I am working in a spring boot project they are putting unrealistic expectations. I am tired. what could happen if I ask directly from the manager?

Reality - your manager doesn’t have power /vision beyond your account (Verizon in this case). What will he do after releasing you. He will lose a billable resource. So there is no incentive for him to release you. So easier option is to get take an IJP if you have spent 18 months. If you are in ADM units then even your DM will be from same account so even he doesn’t have any incentive to release you.

But if they see that I am not meeting their expectations can't they just remove me from the project?

That’s the worst way to get out of project if you are doing intentionally. You will get a NI ratings and PIP and if things and then out of company. And new projects would think twice before taking you as you are NI rated. Take IJP when you are due that’s the only viable option or find another job. Don’t intentionally underperform.

May I know what is the major issue in Verizon?
As my current project is going to complete, Verizon team took me an interview.
So most probably i will be selected to this project and so may I know what's going on there?

Before going to Verizon just ensure whenever you work you should have proper stable internet connection there should not be a slight issue on the internet otherwise your system will be pretty slow.
Second there is a cost issue going on with verizon even after getting the best rating (which they will not give) you will not get hikes. My team members got 0% hike after getting met with an expectations rating.
Project is good with new technology but the workload will be more. Understanding their project is big task.

Thanks

Verizon is the worst account

You too work in Verizon?

Yes bro it's hell in here

Start looking opportunities outside of Infosys.
